THE ladies of Brick & Lace were not brought together by a record company and artificially presented as “overnight sensations�. These women are the genuine articles. Brick & Lace are sisters Nyanda and Nailah Thorbourne, and they are dynamic artistes and great songwriters – they wrote or co-wrote almost every song on Love is Wicked. And they’ve penned hits for the likes of Janet Jackson, Paris Hilton and, most recently, for Nicole Scherzinger’s (of the Pussycat Dolls) solo project.

To give Love is Wicked its versatile sound, the sisters teamed up with Akon as well as a slew of other serious hit-making producers, most notably Will.I.Am, Tony “CD� Kelly and Cool & Dre.
