Make sure you use the radio list that I posted below to request Love is Wicked on the radio! 56.4% of the people who visit this website each day are from America, so there is absolutely no reason why we can’t get the track on the radio! Make sure you do that people! NY fans, stand up! If we can get the song to pop off there, then there’s no reason why all of the other radio stations won’t follow. It only takes a few minutes to call in and request, and some stations have it set up to where you can send in e-mails. Do it, it’s actually fun! Get your friends to call in every day, and be sure to mention that Brick & Lace are on AKON’s label because that makes the DJ’s pay attention to what you’re saying more. Do this because this radio requesting is leading up to something big to you will want to be apart of!
For the past week or so I’ve been playing Love Is Wicked for all of the people that I’ve met so far this school year and they are instantly hooked! You know how most fansites are always asking the visitors to request music videos and songs on the radio? Well this time I am SERIOUS. I’m so serious about you all doing this that I dug up a list of every radio station in the United States of America so that you can call the number and request the track or do it online! (yes, I know I am a bit crazy lol) Please use it people! Request ‘Love is Wicked’!
For those of you live outside of the United States, send me your radio station that you listen to the most and I’ll add it to the list we have! Also, if you see one of our listings outdated let us know with a comment and I’ll fix it! Tek it dem!

BRICK & LACE BACKSTAGE BEFORE THE SHOW Brick & lace took the night shift in Chicago recently. Here is a review of what went on at the show.
…Next up was sister duo, Brick & Lace, who were the first act signed to Akon’s Konvict Muzik record label. As the ladies were introduced to a crowd of hundreds, many in the audience had a “who are they” look across their face. Unfortunately, with little radio play stateside, they didn’t offer up anything that had already been heard by the masses. To their credit, the duo gave an inspired fifteen minute set which included a cover of Sean Kingston’s hit, “Beautiful Girls.” (If you were wondering, they are the type of women he refers to in that very song.) -www.djbooth.net
Ahh, that will soon change ;-). I’ve got some scans of Brick & Lace in Black Hair Magazine coming up. Keep it laced!
The music video isn’t even out yet but we’ve already made a difference! Brick & Lace’s amazing performance of “Love Is Wicked” for the Yahoo! New Now segment is at #20 on the top 20 R&B video charts! Click here to check it out for yourself!

If you haven’t heard of Brick and Lace, chances are you haven’t been watching MTV, BET and local music stations and seen the sister duo of Nailah and Nyanda Thourborne plastered across your television set.
The first act to be signed to superstar Akon’s record label, Kon Live, and Geffen Records, Brick and Lace are bringing dancehall wickedly with an R&B flair in their debut album Love is Wicked. The album is to be released at the end of summer, while the first song and video Never Never have been well received Internationally.
Brick and Lace are no strangers to the music industry, as for years they were buzzing around the periphery – until recently.
Previously a trio with sister Tasha in the mix, the group has experienced an evolution. Tasha left the group to focus on marriage and raising her two children. Nailah, 24, says “It has been scary and at first it was like we couldn’t move on. When she left the tour with Marcia Griffiths presented itself. Me and Nyanda, we never performed as a duo before, but at the point we were it was a great opportunity.”
